Of course, other IBP technology is available. But we’ve yet to see another tool that delivers equally well at department level (e.g. it rivals dedicated tools that do just one thing in e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Workforce Planning, Sales, etc) as well as being able to connect insight across departments for holistic, organisation-wide planning.
And in our mind, an IBP tool must be able to demonstrate value fast and early at the start (wherever that is for you), then deliver at all levels for an organisation, and for the long term. That, in short, is why we’ve committed to Anaplan.
