Strategic Account Manager

As the Strategic Account Manager, your approach will be consultative towards our clients. Your focus will be to expand our footprint by winning new business in existing clients. You will work with the broader team, and clients, to ensure that best practice for account management is embedded into the organisation. You will also be collaborating with Anaplan to spot opportunities within existing clients and understand how new capabilities within the product could benefit our clients.

Are you:

  • Experienced in building out relationships with clients and engaging with potential stakeholders to sell them consulting and technology services? (Ideally with experience of selling into multiple business functions)
  • Highly organised in the way you approach an account, with a structure to successfully build out our footprint?
  • Happy operating in both a strategic and hands on capacity for business development?
  • Excellent at building and maintaining effective client relationships up to a CxO level?
  • Motivated by the opportunity to join an ambitious, successful EPM consulting business?

Established in 2017, Fidenda specialises in supporting organisations facing change and disruption by improving the pace and reliability of their business decisions. We achieve this by working with our customers and applying our deep experience of EPM technology and business process, to design and implement solutions that transform them into data-driven organisations.

Our business is rapidly growing, (we more than doubled headcount last year). This is a key role for Fidenda as we look to continue to achieve our ambitious growth targets. It is highly visible as you will be working collaboratively with all areas of our business and will be reporting directly into the Business Development Director. You will be a key voice in helping define the GTM and sales strategy for the firm over the next few years.

The role will involve:

  • Winning new business outside of existing footprints: Working with customers to help them define the challenges and understand the process improvements needed, ultimately helping build a business case and plan for change. Working with Fidenda’s pre-sales team to define and deliver demonstrations, proofs of concepts and workshops.
  • Extensions: Supporting the delivery team in the commercials around project extensions and using these meetings to explore opportunities within the broader landscape of the client.
  • Client Success: measuring client satisfaction with Fidenda – owning the relationship and being a touchpoint for projects that need support.
  • Proposition Development: Supporting Fidenda’s growth through identifying and articulating value propositions. Be able to articulate the value of these propositions to existing clients.
  • Pursuits & proposals. Responsible for creating proposals, working with delivery, and consulting teams to ensure they are commercially compelling.
  • Providing leadership around account management: Bringing discipline, structure, and support to account teams through management information, market insight, knowledge sharing and meeting preparation. Mentoring the delivery community on best practice around account management.
